Pakistan Blast: At least four people were killed and 15 others injured in a blast today in Quetta, the capital of Pakistan’s restive southwestern Balochistan province. A spokesperson of the government gave this information. Provincial government spokesman Babar Yousafzai said the dead included two officers and two civilians. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, he said, but suspicions lay with the Pakistani Taliban, which has ramped up attacks across the country since November. Provincial Chief Minister Abdul Qudus Bizenjo condemned the attack in a statement and ordered authorities to provide all possible medical care to the injured.
