Harris asked The World Account to Paris if she was worried that her “moment had passed”, in reference to her subsequent low ratings. Paris kept saying no repeatedly before finally losing her temper. She looked off-camera and walked out.
The interviewer asked Paris Hilton, “Do you sometimes worry that people following in your footsteps like Kim Kardashian are overshadowing you?” Even though he said no Harris continued, “Do you worry that your moment has passed?” After which she walks away and can reportedly be heard saying, “I don’t want it to be used at all”.
After much discussion between Paris Hilton, her publicist, and the interviewer, she returned to the interview with a well-crafted answer. She said, “I’ve been doing this for 15 years, so it’s been a long time, so like any other business person or anyone in the industry, it’s always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects.”
